A Glimpse of Perspective. Perspective. Perspective.

A sharing of perspective

I AM WITH YOU (For Claudette’s family)

I am gone from this world
But I’m not gone forever
She ( our daughter) would be
And so do you
For your love as my mum, husband, sister, brothers, mum stays
So is my daughter’s
And I can feel it beyond the barriers of the body
I’m not scared and I’m not alone
Dad and brother and everyone else got to welcome me
I know you are sad
But know I am at peace

It is alright
Cry when you remember me
But smile too and laugh
For I know I was and I am loved
And the memories very fresh
Hold into those
Talk to me when you need to
I am always in the place that I will never leave : In our hearts and so I carry you in mine

I still visit in your dreams,
There we will meet
And it is real
Talk to me as you always did
I’m always in place that I will never leave: your hearts

When she start to smile remember me,
Tell her about me,
About who her mum was, is !
Tell her I loved her for all the time I had to carry her,
And to see her even for a moment
She is a link between us
And I know she will be well looked after
I will be watching over her
For the love of mum goes beyond the imaginary barriers.
Tell her howmuch I love her

This is not a goodbye
For I’m always with you,
When you miss me it hurts,
When it is still sinking than I’m no longer with you,
When you cry calling my name,
I AM with you

I am with you when you are trying so hard,
To find the strength to carry on
I’m with you when you cry calling my name,
I’m with you when you silently talk to me in the temple of your heart
I am with you

The love will never end
For it is carried in a place of safely
Your hearts and in mine.

Hugs to you all
Kisses to my little one and her Dad
Kisses to my mum, sisters and brothers
Until we meet again

Marie-Claire Mimi

Who we Are

Welcome to our blog aglimpseofperspective.com. We are two friends, mothers ,who originate from Rwanda and currently living in United Kingdom (UK). We all immigrated to the UK when we were grown ups. Growing up from our culture, and later on living in a new culture has been challenging, as well as beneficial as you always analyse life challenges and opportunities from two angles. From our long conversations about the culture shock and motherhood challenges, emerged the idea of sharing our thoughts to the world , hence the name of our blog. Since the idea of the blog involves sharing, we would also be sharing other people’s perspective not just ours.   We welcome your perspectives as well. Have fun reading our blog.
